Blatter or Blame? How would you react as FIFA sponsor?
Take your brand penalty now and fill in the questionnaire!
In the past years, months and especially the past days, FIFA has been subjected to a continuous stream of accusations and investigations linking FIFA leadership to corruption, bribery, rapaciousness, alleged vote-rigging pursuant to the election of FIFA President Sepp Blatter, and the organization’s decision to simultaneously award the 2018 and 2022 World Cups to Russia and Qatar, respectively.
On May 27, 2015, several high-ranking FIFA officials were taken into custody by the Swiss authorities by order of the US Department of Justice, which has indicted these individuals on charges including racketeering, wire fraud, and money laundering. On top of this continuous stream of scandals, Sepp Blatter was re-elected for a fifth term as President of FIFA.
In this short questionnaire Brandhome wants to find out how everyone who plays a role in branding looks at this situation – from brand marketers and managers to brand directors. Whether these accusations are true or false, we want to understand how you look at recent events, and how you would react if you were the decision-maker at a FIFA sponsor brand: would you continue sponsoring or not?
Thank you for your participation.
